Recycled polyester staple fiber, known as polyester recycled staple fiber (PRSF), is widely accepted by the market because of its low carbon source and low waste in production process.
Compared with traditional chemical fiber, recycled polyester short fiber has the characteristics of green, environmental protection and recyclable, which can effectively reduce the emission of carbon dioxide, and save nearly 80% energy compared with the production of conventional polyester fiber.
The products are mainly used in the cotton industry, and are used for spinning alone or mixed with cotton, viscose fiber, hemp, wool, vinylon, etc. the yarn is mainly used for textile and clothing, and also can be used in non-woven, filling, thermal insulation, automobile interior decoration and civil engineering industries. Polyester staple fiber is mainly used in three fields: textile yarn, accounting for 77%, end products for clothing, home textile, decorative cloth, etc.; non woven fabrics, accounting for 17%; end products are wet towels, masks, etc.; filling, accounting for 6%; the terminal products are winter clothes, pillows, toys, etc.
In recent years, short fiber gradually replaces cotton, its application field has been widened, and a new round of expansion has appeared in domestic polyester staple fiber industry. So far, China is the largest short fiber producer in the world. In 2019, the capacity and output have set a new high, respectively, 7585.5 and 6.15 million tons. Compared with 18 years, the output increased 15% on a year-on-year basis, much higher than the previous four years.
The major production capacity of recycled polyester staple fiber is mainly Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Fujian. Our factory is located in the coastal city of eastern Zhejiang Province. Thanks to the advantages of convenient transportation, mature port, rich raw materials and close to downstream market, we will create a better production and supply chain in the future.
